Kwerner challenge # 53

Wow 2 posts in one day, and I'm not done yet. Anyway here is my entry for the kwerner challenge. I wasn't sure about the yellow but now that my card is done I love all the
bright colours. I have used basic black, riding hood red, pacific point, summer sun and whisper white and priceless is the stamp set. I even got out my white embossing powder for the swirls. Check out the other entries here. Thanks for stopping by!

Rustic Rooster

I went to do a post last night and I took all my pictures and went to transfer them to the computer and my batteries went dead. I hate it when that happens. So with an overnight charge I am good to go. Last Thursday I went to Megan's(my Upline) for our monthly meeting and last month Megan had given us some in colour card to make something. So while Megan was at convention I borrowed the rustic rooster set meaning to make a few cards but only ended up making one. I used tangerine tango and chocolate chip.
The second card is our make and take with a twist. Megan gave us some precut card and said make a card, choose a set and and use what ever. Way to make us think on the spot.lol. I decided to use fresh cuts since I don't have that set. This is what I came up with. The colours are night of navy and tempting turquoise. Thanks Megan it was fun and the muffins were fantastic.

Little bundle of joy

A good friend of mine had a baby girl on Wednesday afternoon. I made this card last night but didn't have time to upload it. I just got this hostess set punches three and I knew that I would get a lot of use out of it. Everyone seems to be having babies! I have used pretty in pink, regal rose, and rose red for this card. And I used the eyelet border punch on the corners. I can't wait to go and visit so I can have a wee cuddle with summer. Thanks for stopping by.

Inkspirations sketch challenge # 7

Where has the week gone? Well I finally found abit of time this afternoon to start and finish a card. I decided to do Makeesha's sketch. This is what I came up with. This set flight of the butterfly just arrived hot off the courier on Friday and I couldn't wait to ink it up. So when I saw that it would work well with this sketch no one could hold me back.lol. I stamped onto accetate for the wings with stazon. (those of you that know me will be quite shocked that I used stazon on my stamp.hehe) I used riding hood red and black ink. The DSP is urban oasis. Check out the other great cards here. Well off to make a start on my stamp club projects. Thanks for stopping by!

Mojo Monday # 85

It feels like ages since I did any stamping. Its been a very busy couple of weeks. I found a little time to have a at the mojo Monday and this is what I came up with. I decided before I started that I would only use the card and paper out of my scrap box the pile has been mounting up and just going to waste. The colours I used are close to cocoa, purely pomegranate and whisper white. The stamps are live like you mean it and best yet.(both number 1 hostess sets ). Check out all the other entries here. I will try to not leave it this long before I post again. Fingers crossed I might get to do a little tomorrow. OOPS I just noticed that the left bottom corner was ment to be different, never mind what you see is what you get.lol Thanks for visiting!!!!
