SWAPS FROM THE U.S

My swaps arrived this week from Kim Steiner who is my swap sister from the US. We had to make 2 cards/3d items for the swap. The first is a folder full of note cards and envelopes with my embossed initial in two different colours. How cool is that!!

And the second is a card. I love the flowers with the jumbo brads in the middle. Blue bayou was an in colour from last years catty and one of my favorites!! I like the saying happy birthday since it was my birthday last week, not that Kim probably new. lol!!
I will post my swaps I sent to Kim tomorrow.
Hope everyone is having a fantastic week!

Priceless love notes

I said I was on a roll and I have finished yet another UStamp project.lol. I made these love notes box set. These are not my normal colours but hey I don't want everything to be the same. Kiwi kiss and rose red go great together as you will see from the raspberry tart DSP. Priceless is a great set to make love notes with there are quite a few little stamps in the set. Its a beautiful day here in New Plymouth I better go enjoy it :)

All in one card box

Is it a box, is it a card. Its both. The box slides out to revel a gift or treat. This is one of the projects Dawn has created for UStamp. I am on a roll now and hope to turn out some of the other Ustamp projects over the weekend. I have used some of the sweet slumber specialty DSP and used baja breeze and ruby red to go with it. Simple friendship is the stamp set (not available in New Zealand). Well I guess I better get some tea started. Thanks for stopping by:)

Very cute

Look what came to visit me today, 12 little ducklings, how cute!! They have found a nice little spot in the garden to sleep. I wonder how long they will stay. The kids want to keep them, as all kids would. They will be disappointed when they leave. Well I better go and get tea on. I hope to be back later with some stamping to show you.

Great friend gift

I have been having fun this week making gifts. The first one is for a friend of mine, I just thought I'd send her a wee gift. I used a card I made at Megan's my Upline and I have made a notebook to match. I have used great friend out of the mini, and the beautiful raspberry tart DSP.
The second gift was my swaps for UStamp, but I can't show you them just in case my swap sister Kim is peeking at my blog!! And because I forgot to take photos of them before I posted them.lol:( so hopefully Kim will take a photo for me so I can show you them. I can already tell the week is going to fly by. I hope to make some time to do the Mojo Monday and a UStamp project or two. Fingers crossed:).
Thanks for stopping by!!

Recess window

Hellllooooo. How long has it been? Far to long!!!! I have had a long week. But now I am up to date I can get back to blogging!
We had regionals here in New Plymouth yesterday and It was great!
I got an email from Hollie, from Australia a couple of weeks ago asking if I would do a WOW presentation at training. Its not my thing but I decided to have a go! And it was exciting to be asked. I decided I would show everyone how to do a recess window card, because I have been wanting to make one and haven't got around to it. Well nerves were thick and heavy, and I was wondering "what was I thinking" lol, but luckily I was first up and got it over with first thing so I could relax and enjoy the rest of the training day. These are the samples I made to show everyone.

If you want to have a go and make one yourself here is the link for the tutorial from splitcoast stampers.

Mojo Monday # 102

How time flies when you are having fun!! I have been stamping my heart out this week making things for UStamp which is due to kick off on Friday in the states and Saturday for me. Wha hooo I can't wait. Anyway I made this card today with a set not many of you from here would have seen, its called hello again. Yesterday I received a gift from Dawn Rapsas as a thankyou for all my work for UStamp and this was one of the sets I received. I was like a kid at Christmas all day yesterday. So I had to use one of my new sets for the mojo Monday today. I have used retired colours that I loved from the last catty. Check out all the other entries here.
Well I better go I have a bit more stamping to do tonight so I can use my new things. I will show you what I have made tomorrow. See you then:)
