Kwerner Challenge # 56

Man kristina picked a hard challenge this time. This is not the way this card was ment to come out it just kinda happened. Not sure about the colours but that's why they call it a challenge!

I ended up using riding hood red, pumpkin pie, so saffron, certainly celery, ballet blue and whisper white. Petal pizzazz is such a great set I just couldn't help but pull it out to use. Check out all the other entries here. Hope you have all had a great week:)

Kwerner challenge #55

A very quick post tonight, I was suppose to be finishing my 2nd project for UStamp but I got a bit side tracked and thought I would quickly do the Kwerner challenge.

I couldn't get the colours out of my head so I had to make a card before I could do anything else. I love these colours, they go fantastically together. This is what I ended up with. Kwerner challenge # 54

When I saw the colours this week I thought they look great, but I got out the colours and I thought man this is going to be a challenge and it was. This is what I ended up with. I used heartfelt thanks and flight of the butterfly. I also added some chunky sprinkles to the middle of the flower. Check out the other entries here. Kwerner challenge # 53

Wow 2 posts in one day, and I'm not done yet. Anyway here is my entry for the kwerner challenge. I wasn't sure about the yellow but now that my card is done I love all the

Just a quick post today. Love the colours this week!. As soon as I saw the them I new just what set I would use! The so saffron and more mustard are the perfect colours for my favorite lion out of wild about you. As you can see I got carried away with all the paper toll, but I love how it looks.lol. Kwerner challenge # 50

Talk about a quick card! Time is against me this weekend, but I did sneak into my craft room and whip up this card. Not sure If I'm totally happy with this card but I ran out of time so it will do.lol. If I get some time later I might have another go with these colours. I have used petal pizzazz for this card and the colours are chocolate chip, ruby red, so saffron,temping turquoise and whisper white. Check out all the other entries here. KWERNER CHALLENGE # 49

Wow can you believe it two posts 1 day. I'm glad that I have our new in colours, and I am loving them. I needed to make a sympathy card so I decided to use Eastern blooms. I have white embossed the branch and used a few 1/2 pearls,because I can't help myself.he he. I used the heartfelt words to finish it off. Check out the other entries here. Kwerner challenge # 47

Love , love love the colours this week. I hadn't used tangerine tango so now was my chance, and I must say I like it and it goes great with chocolate chip. I wished that I had the new In colour ribbon but at least I can order some in a few days. I have used natural beauty I will miss this set but at least there are lots of new ones to ease my pain.lol. I always do a lot of cutting out but I think it is worth it. I found some glitter that matched the tangerine tango so I have a added a wee bit to the centre of the main flower. Kwerner challenge # 46

I don't know about these colours, they are not ones I would normally put together. But that's why they call it a challenge right! This is what I came up with. I was excited that I do have riding hood red now. Love it. Anyway I have used natural beauty, and one of a kind stamp sets and Versamark and basic black ink. In the middle is a blue rhinestone brad. KWERNER CHALLENGE # 45 No 2

I wasn't very happy with my 1st KWERNER challenge so today I found time to have another go. I even got out the white embossing powder. lol. I have used baroque motifs, I'm glad its not retiring. I just got a set of nestablities and and I had to make sure the work.lol. And they work great. For the brad in the middle of the flower, I put the brad end in the white craft pad then dipped it in white embossing powder, Its great you end up with a great looking white brad. I was so excited to see the colours this week. Love them. Now what stamp set to use.... since I still have Megans by land I thought I'd make use of it. I have paper tolled out bits of the truck and used black stampin up buttons( I did have brads here but the buttons look much better.). I better get to bed I need a little sleep. KWERNER CHALLENGE TAKE 2

I had to have another play with the colours this week, LOVE them together. I used time well spent a level 3 hostess set. I papertolled out the flower and added the last of my white 1/2 pearls. I hope to get some more time today to do a bit of stamping I have a couple of birthday cards to make. There are heaps of entries check them out here. KWERNER CHALLENGE # 44

I had a little time this afternoon and I wondered if that would be enough time to make a card and up load it to my blog. Turns out it was.lol. I can't believe this set like it a latte is on the retiring list. I love this set and it will be one that I will always use. I love the colours this week for the challenge and couldn't wait till tonight to have a play. I have used puff paint on the foam.(Its not hot chocolate unless you have the foam.yum.) I look forward to these challenges but I had a bit of trouble getting this one together. I used a in the spotlight and garden whimsy. I have only added a little brocade blue and ruby red(but they are there.lol.) . I found a brown button that matches chocolate chip and was the perfect size to go on top of the felt flowers. KWERNER COLOUR INSPIRATION # 42

A very quick post this morning, and a very quick card. I had this card started a couple of weeks ago, I had it laid out ready to finish but hadn't got round to it. All I had to do was replace the chocolate chip card with old olive and add the bird and some old olive ribbon. Check out the other entries here or even enter yourself .

Happy valentines day everyone. I hadn't got round to making Matt(MDH) a valentines day card, so when I finished work I snuck into my craft room to whip something up. KWERNER CHALLENGE # 40

When I first saw the colours for this challenge I thought yeh I like these colours together, but when I got them out to put them together It was a different story. Man did I have trouble finding a layout that worked. Finally I thought put it together or you'll never get to bed. This is what I came up with. As you can see I only used a little of the so saffron but at least its there. lol.

I have never used my white craft stamp pad so much on one card. I really enjoyed doing this card it really challenged me. The main stamp set is called eastern blooms (out of the mini). Check out the other entries here.
