Time just seems to slip away from me!! My poor blog!! I thought I would show you my first project from UStamp. I Love the build up to Christmas so I made my own advent Calender. Its a pity the photos don't give it Justice. Now I can't wait for December so I can start using it!! I have to pick up the kids, so this is the quickest post ever. I hope to have some time in the weekend to show my stamp room some love!!

Makeesha's colour challenge

Aren't these colours gorgeous!! Pun fun is one of my newer stamp sets and when I saw the colours I new I had to use the hippo!! I have had a day to myself today and it has been fantastic;-)!!!! And I made sure I had a bit of time to do some stamping!! I just couldn't help to paper toll the hippo a little!! I have used black thread for the balloon string, it was abit fiddly but worth it;-) Check out the other entries here. September calendar page

I have a group of friends that I meet with every month or 2 and we decided to do a calendar swap. There is 6 of us and we are each creating 2 pages and making 6 of each of them. In the end we will each get a complete calendar back!!! This is the page I made for my September month. I don't know why I put off doing my pages for so long. I guess I work better under pressure. he he. I can't wait till I get the other pages from our calendar page swap. June Calender Page

I have a group of friends that I get together with every month or so. We do swaps every 2 months which are always fun! This time we decided to do a calender together. We each had to make 2 months and make 6 of each month. And me being me left it till the last minute to do mine even though we have had 5 months to do them.he he. I got back from my holiday on Wednesday night and made this page and another page for a calender swap Thursday and Friday night! I finished putting some finishing touches on them on Saturday! There is nothing like a deadline to make you work hard.lol. I will post the other page I have made in the next few days:)

Makeesha's sketch challenge # 14

It has been sooo long since I have done one of Makeesha's challenges, and as soon as I spied this sketch I thought I have to make a card! I love the layout and anyone that knows me or follows my blog will know I love butterfly's!! he he. I love the parisian breeze specialty DSP. Kraft, baja breeze and chocolate chip go fantastic together!! I will need to stock up on this DSP before the mini finishes at the end of Nov! I have used great friend stamp set, kraft taffeta ribbon and chocolate chip corduroy buttons to finish off my card. I have used my versa mark pad to stamp the branch on the kraft cardstock since we don't have a kraft stamp pad. Check out the other entries and the samples from Makeesha and her design team here!! Mojo Monday # 107

Its amazing how much I have missed blogging!! I have been away for 9 days and I didn't take any stamping supplies with me and I thought it wouldn't matter but I was sooo wrong! We got home at 6pm last night and the first thing I did when the kids were in bed was go straight into my craft room and have a wee play. I haven't had the time to do a mojo Monday sketch for ages and it felt great to not have to think what layout to use! he he. I have used outlaw DSP out of last years catty that were in my huge scrap box. I love these papers, love the colours and the designs and I never have any masculine cards made up. I went to take pictures last night to put on my very neglected blog but surprise surprise the batteries were flat. Don't you hate it when that happens.lol. Go check out the other fantastic entries for Mojo here! you might need a bit of time to go through them but its worth it!!

Well I must go and finish unpacking:( I hate that part!!
