Boxed card set

Where has the week gone I meant to post but we had Matts sister and family over from Perth. When I had free time we were seeing them so my stamping time was zero:( But it was great to see them all and spend time and get to know my nephew and niece!!! I got some time today and thought I would use up one of last years simply scrapping kits called secret garden. I loved the colours in this set and I never used much of it, so I made a dent in it today. I found some envelopes in my stash that were the same as always artichoke. Love it when that happens.lol. It didn't take long to whip up the cards, I just used all the stickers out of the kit. I didn't even ink up a stamp.he he. I also found some brads that matched in as well. The colours of the kit are aways artichoke, groovy guava, old olive and river rock. Well I'm off to ink up some stamps now I am having withdraws.lol. Thanks for stopping my!

Makeesha's colour challenge # 11

Well its official I have lost my mojo.weep weep. To post or not to post?, that was the question. But they are what they are. Anyway not sure what happened. The first photo is the first of the worst cards ever, then I pulled it apart a little (its amazing if you are careful how they can come apart.lol.) Then it turned into the second card and I don't think its much better than the first. But that's what happens when you loose your mojo. Check out all the better entries here. Hope you are all having a great weekend:)

Swaps for my swap sister

These are the 2 projects I made for my UStamp swap sister Debbie Keane who lives in Virginia Beach, USA. I was in such a hurry to post them off that I forgot to take photos of them, these are the ones that Debbie took for me. First I decided to make a free standing calender something useful to use that you can put anywhere. Its hard to see from the photo that the bag is a double pocket bag . I made a matching card for one side and filled the other side with cadbury favorite's chocolates. I got a few requests for the instructions of the bag so here is a easy to follow tutorial.
If you haven't already, leave a comment in on my blog candy post to be in to win a free UStamp pass for the next session in September. I will be drawing a winner on Friday morning!!

Mojo Monday # 98

Yeh Mojo time again. The weather was good to me today and it is raining, I put a movie on for Keisha and I pretended to watch it with her but as you can see I was making this card.he he. I know I am using alot of the parisian breeze DSP but its in the mini and won't be around for long so I say make the most of it.lol. Chocolate chip and baja breeze are the colours and I have used gallery and petal pizzazz with a jumbo brad to finish off the flower. Check out all the entries here. I have another post to do later tonight with some fantastic blog candy so come back later and have a look.

Makeesha's sketch # 11

It felt great to escape to my craft room tonight! Its been a very busy weekend. Today was Keisha's 4th birthday and I was up early making the cake and getting things ready for when all her kindy friends came over for the party. People started arriving at 12.30pm and the last one left at 7.30pm. So escaping to my craft room was the end of a great but long day. At first I was going to tidy up but I soon forgot about that and started on Makeesha's sketch. I decided to try and use my off cuts for this card because they are piling up. I have used always artichoke, so saffron, and very vanilla. The DSP is out of le jardin(retired) and garden whimsy is the stamp set. Check out the other entries here.
Thanks for stopping by:)
