Raspberry suite colour challenge # 2

A quick card and a very quick post, school is about to finish and I have to go and pick up my boys. Love these colours together, I have tried a slightly different style for me and made some background card with all the colours and used the words as my main focus point. I just wished that I had some taken with teal ribbon. But you have to work with what you have.lol. I have added some brads that match chocolate chip, lucky I had four left. A good egg

Tonight I had stamp club at my place. This is what we made just in time for Easter. I found the template for the box last year and printed out a copy. The template was made by Brenda Quintana, I just added a band so I could decorate the box a bit. This stamp set (a good egg) is sooo cute it just arrived on Friday in my order, just in time for my stamp club.(well planed he he.) We made a card to go with it so that they both match. But I wonder if the chocolate eggs will last till Easter, I know mine won't.lol. Kwerner challenge # 47

Love , love love the colours this week. I hadn't used tangerine tango so now was my chance, and I must say I like it and it goes great with chocolate chip. I wished that I had the new In colour ribbon but at least I can order some in a few days. I have used natural beauty I will miss this set but at least there are lots of new ones to ease my pain.lol. I always do a lot of cutting out but I think it is worth it. I found some glitter that matched the tangerine tango so I have a added a wee bit to the centre of the main flower. Makeesha's inkspiration challenge # 6

Just a quick post tonight. I haven't had time to do Makeesha's sketch, so I made a bit of time tonight to have a quick play. This is what I ended up with. Aren't these such happy colours. Mojo Monday and Raspberry Suite Challenges

My time is limited this week so I thought I'd combine a couple of challenges. Mojo Monday #79 and Raspberry suite colour challenge # 1( which I found on Nancy blog istamp. Thanks Nancy) First I got out the colours chocolate chip, pumpkin pie, so saffron, and regal rose and whisper white. And then picked eastern blooms stamp set. Looking at my card now I should have framed the flowers in pumpkin pie instead of so saffron but oh be wise after. lol. Its a great layout this week Love it. Kwerner challenge # 46

I don't know about these colours, they are not ones I would normally put together. But that's why they call it a challenge right! This is what I came up with. I was excited that I do have riding hood red now. Love it. Anyway I have used natural beauty, and one of a kind stamp sets and Versamark and basic black ink. In the middle is a blue rhinestone brad. OCC limited supply challenge

Well tonight I tried to do the limited supply challenge and I just couldn't stick to the rules. The rules were that you could only use a maximum of 3 layers of paper and card, And one type of embellishment. I have only used 3 layers but it needed a bit more than just ribbon, so on went a flower brad. lol. This is what I ended up with. I have used good morning sunshine DSP and good friends stamp set. GOOD FRIEND

I made this card yesterday, but my camera ran out of batteries before I could put it on the computer. So after an all night charge we are good to go! I am loving these new blues, baja breeze and pacific point. They go great with chocolate chip, and I have used a bit of the new good morning sunshine DSP, and will probably use a lot more, I love it. I have even use a new flower brad. At first I thought what am I going to do with these huge brads. lol. but I actually don't mind them. They look kinda cool. Maybe tonight I might even get time to have another play, I have a few challengers I have been meaning to do. Hope you all have a great night.

APRICOT APPEAL CHALLENGE

Two posts in one day how good am I. lol. Matt played golf this morning so only fair that I get to do a little stamping.he he.

Each month Megan my upline has her down line over and we have coffee do a make and take and have a chat. We get a challenge to do over the next month. (This challenge was due last week but at least I got it done.) This time it could be anything but you had to use apricot appeal. I don't know about you, but that's not a colour that I use. So I thought I'd use baroque motifs because its a set I use alot and its easy to use. I have teamed up mellow moss, always artichoke and very vanilla with apricot appeal, and funny it actually works, and I don't mind the apricot appeal. Its hard to see from the photo but I have clear embossed the big flower.

PRE ORDER PLAY

As demos we get to pre order a selected few things out of the new catalogue. My order arrived on Friday and last night I had a little play. the stamp set is called good friends and the colours I've used are pacific point, baja breeze, so saffron, chocolate chip and whisper white. I found some ribbon in my box that matched pacific point, yeah so on that went. (I find it hard not to use any.lol.) When I first saw the new in colours I didn't really like them. But after having a little play I don't think they will be hard to fall in love with. Thanks for visiting.

KWERNER CHALLENGE # 45 No 2

I wasn't very happy with my 1st KWERNER challenge so today I found time to have another go. I even got out the white embossing powder. lol. I have used baroque motifs, I'm glad its not retiring. I just got a set of nestablities and and I had to make sure the work.lol. And they work great. For the brad in the middle of the flower, I put the brad end in the white craft pad then dipped it in white embossing powder, Its great you end up with a great looking white brad. KWERNER CHALLENGE # 45

I was so excited to see the colours this week. Love them. Now what stamp set to use.... since I still have Megans by land I thought I'd make use of it. I have paper tolled out bits of the truck and used black stampin up buttons( I did have brads here but the buttons look much better.). I better get to bed I need a little sleep. I love long weekends, they give you that extra day to fit in a bit of everything. Anyway I had a bit of time today and Thomas's birthday card was a few days over due, so it was first on the agenda. I am kinda over my stamps and waiting for the new catalogue to come out so I borrowed by land from Megan.(thanks Megan.) I have never thought of using or even getting this set, I loved having a play with it. Its a pity it is retiring but I sure there will be alot more cool stamps coming. KWERNER CHALLENGE TAKE 2

I had to have another play with the colours this week, LOVE them together. I used time well spent a level 3 hostess set. I papertolled out the flower and added the last of my white 1/2 pearls. KWERNER CHALLENGE # 44

I had a little time this afternoon and I wondered if that would be enough time to make a card and up load it to my blog. Turns out it was.lol. I can't believe this set like it a latte is on the retiring list. I love this set and it will be one that I will always use. I love the colours this week for the challenge and couldn't wait till tonight to have a play. I have used puff paint on the foam.(Its not hot chocolate unless you have the foam.yum.) MOJO MONDAY # 76

I should really start to stamp a little earlier in the evening. I wasn't going to attempt this challenge till tomorrow but I just couldn't go to bed with out having a go. Not sure if I am completely happy with it but I think it will grow on me. I have used embrace life stamp set and ginger blossom DSP out of the mini. I added a little dazzling diamonds to the middle of the flower for a little sparkle. Check out all the other cards in the mojo monday challenge here.
