Mojo Monday # 97

I didn't think I was going to get time to do the Mojo Monday this week. But as you can see I did.lol. It was a fun sketch this week and It seen to take ages to put together. I picked washington apple DSP and teamed that up with riding hood red and bashful blue. My garden whimsy hasn't seen ink for a while so out it came. For some reason I couldn't get the colours to photograph very well but never mind what you see is what you get.lol. Check out all the other fantastic entries here. Cute cube box

This is a cube box I made from one of the Ustamp templates. I am way behind in making the projects, I was planing to finish a different project every couple of days but life happened and the time has been slipping by. But I have all the PDF's saved so I will end up making them all some day soon. As you can see I have used Parisian breeze specialty DSP out of the new mini and a baja breeze corduroy button. Petal pizzzazz just happened to be out and went perfect. I hope to find some time in the next couple of days to finish off a few things I have been working on, so check back soon:)

A few gifts

You might have seen this fantastic paint tin on Amy's blog "me & mi stamps". Little did I know that her me & mi monday's project 1 was meant for me. Wow and yum its fulled with red liquorice. Good friends are hard to find and I'm soooo lucky that Amy is my best and longest friend/sister I have had. Thanks soooo much Amy:)

When I put my name down to participate in the swap at UStamp, I never thought I'd get the BEST swap sister ever. Lucky, lucky me I recieved these 2 cards, a box in a bag and a little treat bag filled with M&Ms from my swap sister Debbie Keane. Debbie also sneaked a tshirt from her home in Virginia beach, Virginia, USA. I will post what I sent Debbie when I know she has recieved them, I don't want to spoil her surprise:) check out Debbies blog she creates some fantastic things. I am so Lucky that Dawn asked me to join her UStamp team other wise I wouldn't have meet Debbie or any of my other Ustamp friends. As I said lucky lucky me!!!!

Makeesha's inspiration challenge #10

The pressure this week how will I cope. Top pick last week and maybe last pick this week.lol. Love this inspiration picture this week, fantastic picking Keesh! I know I use petal pizzzazz alot but I just can't help it. I love it. I tried to pick the colours that are in the duvet so I used black, basic grey, taken with teal and so saffron. My stationary purse

I had such fun designing this stationary purse for one of my UStamp projects. It folds out and holds four card and envelopes. I was glad to see everyone enjoyed making their own, and it was fantastic to receive all the great comments. I will be running a few classes on this stationary purse, so if you would like to make one and get the instructions just send me an email old.mcd@nettel.net.nz and I can book you in for a class, Don't worry if you don't live in New Plymouth I can send you a class kit with instructions so you can complete it at home. I will be sad when this round of UStamp finishes, I have made some fantastic new friends from all over the world and I am loving the live chat rooms that are open 24-7. Slider box and cards

This is another UStamp project by Jenny Moors. Nothing could hold me back, I loved this as soon as I layed eyes on it. I have used the new Parisian breeze specialty DSP out of the mini. And my new favorite stamp sets great friend and gallery. This is a great set to give as a gift or in my case keep because I love it. Hope you are all having a great week. Travel journal

This is another UStamp project by Mary-Jane Roussel from France. I had great fun creating my own version. As you can see I have used a few new embellishments out of the new mini, that starts on the 1st August. I love the corduroy buttons and jumbo brads, I think I will be going through these fast, he he. I have used good morning sunshine DSP and matching card stock. Gallery is a new stamp set out of the new mini, and I teamed that up with petal pizzazz. Can't wait to show you what else I have been making. I had such a great week last week stamping everyday. It would be great if I could find that much time every week.

Kwerner Challenge # 56

Man kristina picked a hard challenge this time. This is not the way this card was ment to come out it just kinda happened. Not sure about the colours but that's why they call it a challenge!

I ended up using riding hood red, pumpkin pie, so saffron, certainly celery, ballet blue and whisper white. Petal pizzazz is such a great set I just couldn't help but pull it out to use. Check out all the other entries here. Hope you have all had a great week:)

I Love doing sketches and my plans changed today so it gave me time to have a play. It gave me a chance to ink up my new set from the mini pre order "Great friend". 6x6 mini scrapbook

Wow no posts in a week then 2 in 1 day that's erratic!lol.

Anyway how exciting UStamp is well under way and I have started to recreate some of the projects. The first project was a 6x6 mini scrapbook by Jen Picard from Canada. Her creation was awesome, however I have changed all the colours and stamps just to make it my own. This is a fun little project, If you would like to recreate it you can still join UStamp to get all the templates and instructions. Go here if you want to sign up. I used "all in the family" on the front cover. I hadn't inked up this set since I got it, not sure why but I think I will use it again soon it was soooo much fun. Mojo Monday # 94

I know its Sunday but at least I got Mojo done.lol. Pink is not normally one of the colours I use often but I wanted to use the sweet always paper and stamp set. Pretty in pink and regal rose are the pinks I uses and I added a bit of chocolate chip just so it wasn't too pink. I had a new packet of 1/2 pearls so I added them to the bird and flower. This is the first time I have inked up this set and I don't know why, I think I kinda for got about it. I think I better have a look and see if there's any other sets I haven't used yet. Inspiration Challenge # 9

I must say when I saw the picture for the inspiration I thought wow this is going to be a hard one and it was. I had a look through my stash of random papers and thought I'd use this one because it had some flecks through it. The first thing that caught my eye in the photo was the tea pot, so I used a black button so it would stand out.
